I show the work behind the frame

Retouching, colour and restoration for photographers who care how the file is finished. Drag the handle — the edit is the whole pitch.

The differentiator

Every edit, shown stage by stage

Nothing hidden between the raw file and the final. Each series on this site walks the same four stages, so you see exactly what changed and why.

  1. 01
    Raw

The capture as it came off the card — flat, uncorrected, honest.

  2. 02
    Colour

White balance, grade and tone set to match the intent of the shoot.

  3. 03
    Retouch

Considered, restrained work on skin, texture and distraction — never plastic.

  4. 04
    Final

The delivered frame, cropped and sharpened for where it will actually live.

About

A quiet craft, patiently done

I edit photographs for a living and have for a long time. The work is deliberate and unhurried: I would rather finish one frame properly than rush ten. This site shows the middle of that process, not just the result.
