Booking
4 questions
How far ahead should I book?
Two to four weeks is comfortable. Holiday season (Oct–Dec) fills up earlier; for late-November, plan by September.
Can I reschedule?
Free with 48+ hours notice. Under 48 hours, the reschedule fee is $50. No-show or cancel under 24 hours is the full session fee.
Do you travel?
The session itself is in West Island Montréal by default. For on-location work beyond the island, travel is $0.60/km, $50 minimum.
Is a deposit required?
A $75 non-refundable booking deposit holds the slot. It's applied to your balance. The remainder is due the morning of the session.
The session
4 questions
How long does it run?
Depends on the session. The standard headshot is 30 minutes. Personal Portrait and Family are 60 minutes. Signature is 90. The session you book determines the length — see /pricing/ for the full menu.
Will you direct me?
Constantly. Hands, weight, chin, breath. You don’t need to know anything walking in.
Can I bring someone?
Of course. One friend, partner, or hype-person is welcome. More than that gets crowded.
What if I hate having my photo taken?
You’re in the majority. The first ten minutes are designed for exactly that.
After the shoot
4 questions
When do I see the photos?
Standard delivery is within five business days via a private online gallery. Rush turnaround (24xe2x80x9348 hrs) is +$100 or +25% of the session fee, whichever is greater.
How many photos do I get?
Depends on the session: 2 for a 30-minute headshot, 4 for an Extended or Personal Portrait, 6 for a Family, 10 for a Signature, 15 for Generational. Extra retouched images are $40 each, or $100 for a pack of 3, $150 for 5, $275 for 10.
Do I get the RAW files?
No — I don’t deliver unedited frames, the same way a chef doesn’t deliver the mise en place.
Can I use the photos commercially?
Personal use included. Commercial licensing is a separate, simple add-on.
